Renee from Tridelphia Wv saying she thinks she has mold growth in her attic. She would also like us to see what she can do to make her house more comfortable year round. We sent our expert Russell out to inspect the microbial growth and to preform a free home energy audit.  Russell found microbial growth in her attic, old batt insulation, non insulated pipe, wire runs and scuttle cover. Our crew first prepared the area by building a contamination barrier to protect the remainder of the home. They removed and disposed of all the old insulation, air scrubber in the attic, used a substrate cleaner to remove all organic contamination. After the growth was remediated they insulated the scuttle and walls with silverglo, air sealed all internal and external penetrations with Zypfoam and installed Trusoft cellulose on the attic floor.

Air sealed and insulated the Scuttle cover, sealed the chimney chase with metal flashing, fire caulk and wrapped with rock wool sleeve .Constructed an air-tight cap over top of open soffit and sealed with ZypFoam  polyurethane foam. Air sealed all accessible penetrations interior and exterior. Installed Trusoft cellulose on attic floor.
