Our team started by disinfecting and sanitizing the attic space to safely remove contamination and restore a clean environment. Once the attic was properly treated, we focused on improving energy performance.

We sealed attic air leaks, sealed top plates and penetrations, addressed chimney-related leakage, installed insulation dams, upgraded insulation levels, and insulated the attic access opening. By tightening the attic’s thermal boundary, we reduced the amount of conditioned air escaping into the attic.

Now the attic is clean and sanitized, upstairs temperatures are more consistent, and the home operates more efficiently year-round.

Next, we pressure washed and disinfected the basement surfaces using EPA-rated antimicrobial solutions designed specifically for mold remediation. We then dried the basement using professional dehumidifiers and high-velocity air movers to bring humidity levels under control.

By cleaning the environment thoroughly and controlling moisture, we helped to restore a cleaner, healthier basement space and improve overall indoor air quality throughout the home.

Now the basement is clean, dry, and the musty conditions surrounding the furnace room have been eliminated.
