Kelly called form Pittsburgh Pa saying that her upstairs seems to never be cool in the summer and never really warm in the winter. She wants to know what Home Environment Solutions can do to make her upstairs more comfortable year round. We set her an appointment for Russell to preform a free Home Energy Audit. Lucinda called Home Environment Solutions to find out about upgrading the insulation in her Allison Park home. Lucinda was set up with an appointment with the HES insulation expert Russell. He came to her home to do a free in home energy audit. In Lucinda's attic he found old compressed insulation with a low R value.
The HES team arrived and removed the old insulation. The next step was to air seal the whole attic to prevent loss of heat form the stack effect. Finally they blew in a deep layer of cellulose insulation to help keep the home comfortable all year long.
Valerie was having trouble with her home in Homestead, PA. The third floor was a finished attic that was unusable because of the extreme temperatures. The rooms would be way too hot in the summer and way to cold in the winter causing high energy bills and a generally cold house.
The HES team arrived and installed SilverGlo foam insulation and blown in cellulose. This will stop the heat loss and make the home more comfortable and affordable.
