Insulation Services Before & After Photos

Steve from Cheswick Pa called Home Environment Solutions stating that he is never comfortable in his home. He says it stays colder in the winter and warmer in the summer. We sent Russ out to perform a free home energy audit to determine what is needed to make his home more comfortable.  Russ found old fiberglass batt insulation, uninsulated and sealed scuttle cover and many other penetrations that let air escape.

 Our insulation team removed and Disposed Of Existing Insulation.  They then prepared the attic for the installation of fresh, clean insulation.  Our team air sealed and insulated Scuttle Cover, Upgraded ceiling over shower with foam boards and sealed with zypfoam. Air sealed with Zypfoam all penetrations.  Installed SilverGlo™ on wall and between floor joists as needed. They also applied Trusoft cellulose to the attic floor.

Ray was having trouble with hot and cold spots in his Monroeville, PA home.   He had contacted several contractors tell him that they would not be able to solve his problem.  When Ray called Home Environment Solutions made an appointment with their insulation and energy efficiency expert Russell.   Russell was able to identify the problems causing the rooms to be uncomfortable and give Ray a solution to make his home cozy all year long.

Home owner Charles had a bunch of mold in his attic. We went in and took out all the affected insulation and then remediated the mold. 

Gary needed help with his New Kensington, PA home, it had old fiberglass insulation and a room over the garage that was not insulated at all.   He called Home Environment Solutions for a free in home energy audit.   

When the HES team arrived they began the work to make the home more comfortable and energy efficient.  The old insulation was removed so that the team could air seal the attic and install TiteShell recessed light fixture covers.  The attic was then covered with a thick layer of blown in cellulose insulation.    Gary's home is now going to stay more comfortable year round with lower heating and cooling bills.
