Justin reached out because his single-story home had cold floors, drafty rooms, and higher energy bills than expected. Even though insulation was already present, it wasn’t performing properly. Missing baffles and air leaks in the attic were allowing heat and conditioned air to escape.
Our team upgraded the insulation rating from R19 to R49 and tightened up air leaks throughout the attic floor. We also insulated the scuttle cover and sealed top plates to keep conditioned air inside the living space.
Now, Justin’s home feels more comfortable from room to room, drafts have been eliminated, and energy costs are noticeably lower thanks to a tighter, better-performing attic system.
